HE's in charge!
At 5pm, Sunday 4th March 2001 AD the crowd began to gather in the Spa Hotel Lucan, Co. Dublin, fifteen miles west of Dublin City.
They eagerly anticipated an eventful night, praying that they would receive a miraculous cure from God for their illnesses and afflictions. They were not to be disappointed. By the end of the evening, the miracles and healings had been so abundant that we lost count but all knew that Jesus Christ had demonstrated his love for the lost, the sick and the broken-hearted once again.
However something most unusual and unexpected happened in the hours between 5pm and 7pm. Although many people had travelled distances including some ladies from Galway on the west coast of Ireland, the room was not filling up as rapidly as usual. People trickled in, in two’s and three’s until by 6:50 pm there were approximately one hundred and forty people in the room. I looked out of the hotel at the motorway/freeway. It was strangely deserted and for a moment I thought the Foot and Mouth restrictions were beginning to bite.
Then I confess I had a fleeting moment of doubt. A thought crept into my head. Had I forgotten something? Did I do something wrong? Was God not pleased? As I watched the entrance, half expecting a convoy of coaches to arrive with passengers apologising for their lateness, Paul walked over to me. “Relax”, he said, ”We’ve done all that we can do. Now all that remains is for to stand firm and leave the rest to God. HE’s in charge.”
At 7:10 pm we commenced the meeting knowing that God had a plan, just not knowing what it was. The anointed music worship from Nick and Martina was even more beautiful than ever. The presence of the Lord filled the room and all was peaceful and calm. People wiped tears from their eyes as Paul described what Jesus endured for us.
When asked once, and once only, who wanted to accept Jesus, ALL hands went up immediately and in unison. One by one they queued to be individually led in the repentance prayer by Paul.
Then the miracles and the healings began. Dramatic, clearly visible by all, life-changing miracles occurred repeatedly and continuously throughout the entire evening as the Power of the Holy Spirit swept in wave after wave across the amazed crowd. Praise and Glory to the Lord.
The MIRACLES
There was the young man with the paralysed arm as a result of a car accident. After he accepted Jesus, Paul instructed him to stretch out his arm, clenching and unclenching his fist. “But it’s paralysed” he protested. “Do it now” urged Paul. Slowly the man moved his paralysed arm. The astonishment on his face and those around him told the story as he clenched and unclenched the previously immoveable fingers and hand. “The grip is getting stronger and stronger,” he stammered excitedly.
The next person in the repentance queue was a lady who was unable to bend her knees due to a severe form of arthritis. Within minutes of prayer she was able to jump, squat and dance without any pain whatsoever.
She profusely thanked Paul who of course explained there is only one, true healer, Jesus Christ alone. Then Paul added,” God has something else for you. You are going to see Jesus.” With that the lady was slain in the spirit. When she recovered she addressed the crowd with tears of joy in her eyes. She told of a brilliant light and a wonderful peace. That words could not describe the beautiful experience of standing in the presence of the Lord.
One young mother after being healed of a serious illness returned to the meeting twice during the evening. She testified excitedly and sincerely that prior to Jesus healing her that night she was definitely an unbeliever.
Now she knew that Jesus was real! Now she knew that Jesus was alive! Now she was a believer!
One brave man suffering from the debilitating motor neurones disease was helped painfully, slowly to the front supported by his wife and a friend. Shaking and trembling he accepted Jesus. He then walked unaided, slowly but strongly back to his seat; all trembling, all fear gone. We await medical reports on this and several cancer healings.
Although we are overjoyed with the miracles and healings that persisted all evening, the primary focus of the Five Fold Ministry is to win souls by the Grace of God,for the Kingdom of the Lord, Jesus Christ. The miracles are secondary but serve to attract the crowds whom we can then tell about Jesus and Him crucified.
Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them... Luke 4:40
Did you think that healing was only for the people 2000 years ago? No, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Heb. 13:8
Dark powers over Dublin Defeated!
We were puzzled at the relatively small turnout and very tired at the end of the evening however we were bursting with joy at another outreach accomplished with yet another harvest by Jesus, for Jesus.
But God’s purpose was about to be made clear.
Later that night God told Paul that He and His Father were “more than pleased…” that the numbers attending were, “PRECISELY His Will” that it would have been as easy for the Lord to fill the room with 500 as it was to draw 200. All that He wanted there were there.
The Lord then surprised us by revealing that this was, “the most powerful meeting ever…” that the Five Fold were used for. “Trust not in what you see but what you don’t see”.
“This night the powers of darkness over Dublin have been defeated and fallen….” “Now the city of Dublin is open for REVIVAL”.
It was not said yet whether it would be us or others leading the revival on that occasion but whoever, we are delighted that an even bigger harvest will be gathered in.

Each day since the meeting, grateful people have rung to thank Paul.
Each day since the meeting we point to Jesus as the one and only healer.
Mature Christians will appreciate the humour, the innocence and the Power of God’s love in this example. One gentle lady rang to thank Paul. We explained as usual, Jesus is the Healer.
She testified to knowing for certain that she had been healed of a serious bladder problem. She admitted that she had arrived at the hotel on that night, feeling unwell and very sceptical indeed. After accepting Jesus she felt “healed” and pain-free. She felt so well that she went to the hotel bar to celebrate where she met other friends who had also been healed of various ailments. “I had four pints” she said excitedly, (probably Guinness),”And even after that I still didn’t have to go to the toilet”.
Previously she couldn’t even go shopping but had a home help, so bad was her condition. The following day was her first totally pain free, problem free day in a long time. After repeating that she knew she was healed she went on to explain that she had an appointment in two weeks to have her bladder removed and wondered what to do. We advised her to show herself to her surgeon, undergo all tests and X-rays and boy will that surgeon have a surprise.
I ‘m sorry it has taken time to circulate this praise report but next morning we all returned to our occupations that finance the outreaches. Each evening there has been post-meeting duties e.g. removing posters, discussions with baby Christians, and administration. (I have approx. 70 emails to be individually responded to. Please be patient, as we do not have a secretary or ‘robot’ software.)
Last but certainly not least, our grateful thanks goes out to prayer warriors everywhere; to overseas churches, organisations, ministries, individuals, to you all. What a wonderful job you have done for the Lord. Rejoice and be glad…, for there are even greater things to come!!
For now, we stand and wait. Wait on the Lord for instructions as to Where next and When?
Further UPDATE: Yesterday, November 11th, Paul met by chance (??) the lady who had the serious bladder problem. She was excited to meet Paul again and to tell of her good news. The surgeons had indeed a surprise as did the medical team brought in to try and explain the lady's complete healing! The operation was CANCELLED! The doctors were "amazed", "perplexed" and "puzzled". They said they could find no logical, medical reason for her total "recovery". Many listened as the lady told how Jesus healed her through HIS servant. Similar scenes were repeated in another hospital when a young coma victim recovered from a coma without any ill effects after Paul prayed. (see Drogheda report).
